Company Information
A large group shop established in 1982 by Lorraine and David Braskie. Located only 10 minutes from the Brimfield antique shows and centrally to Springfield, Boston and Hartford. Antiques and collectables from 1840-1950 housed in a 11,600 square ft building with an ever changing inventory Quaboag Valley Antique Center offers something for everyone from dealers to collectors and decorators. Showrooms have a wide range of items, furniture, glassware, pottery, porcelain, militaria, advertising, toys, perfumes, jewelry, prints and artwork. We also do occassional rentals of antiques and art for commercials, television and movies. Antiques of ours have been in movies Good Wil Hunting , Cider House Rules, The Buccaneers and an upcoming film Evening. Please contact us if this service can be of use to you.

Susan Pecora Watercolors - Nationally recognized artist Susan Pecora offers a website view of her watercolors, egg tempuras and art. Pecora is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society in Boston and a former council member of the Academic Artists Association, Springfield, Copley Society Boston, Cape Cod Art Association, Barnstable and The Provincetown Art Association. SERVICES
Quaboag Valley Antiques offers restoration services on your antiques:
Stripping and refinishing of old furniture finishes, proper cleaning/restoration of antique finishes, french polishing, danish oil and lacquer finishing. We do regluing, veneering and woodworking of pieces from 1700-1950. In 2010 we are now offering custom resizing to antique beds. Need your c1810 tall post bed "modernized" into queen or king size bed?
Refinishing Heywood Wakefield mid-century furniture in the wheat, champagne and natural finishes in what we feel is a very close if not exact color match to the originals. Other dealers have seen our refinished pieces and thought the finish to be original! If we are matching to existing furniture you have this does take more time but we can get as close to the shade as possible.
Dave Braskie has over 20 years experience in the woodworking field. Anyone interested in these services should see the work in person and ask any questions needed. With services there is a waiting list, approx 4-5 weeks on furniture. We can put you in contact with artisans and repair people in glass, pottery, seat weaving and paint decorating.

Have an antique cane handle in need of a cane? We do custom woodworking to make old canes work again. Or have a paperweight or object that you'd like made into a cane feel free to contact us. Bone handle shown with custom walnut cane, slight tapering.
The history and life some antiques have led can be amazing. This wonderful New England banister back arm chair was rescued from oblivion by its current owner. A perfect match to a set of chairs in his home, of course the arms had been cut off and crest CHOPPED off. The first trick was getting the chair apart with minimal/no damage. As you can see pieces were made to spec through a very lengthy process and paint blended to original.
Quaboag Valley Antiques also does appraisal services for estates, individuals and corporations. Appraisal values can be for insurance replacement or fair market value. Estate settling through outright purchasing, running estate sales or auction services. We have cleaning crews that work with us so our company does not just buy the antiques but can settle the estate completely and leave a family with a wall to wall clean house ready for the market!
